Panchari is a percussion ensemble (chenda melam), performed during temple festivals in Kerala, India. It is one of the major forms of chenda melam. Here is the link for more details
I named this blog Panchari to reflect my own personality – hailing rom Kerala, staying outside currently, loving classical art forms of Kerala; Panchari Melam being one among them. This whole blog is NOT going to be about Panchari and classical arts, I do have intention to write on everything that I can reasonably write about.
